In the novel 1984 by George Owell, big
brother watches which symbolize state power, and monitor every
single personal life. By the issue privacy and monitor, the
author wants to criticize totalitarianism that a small number
of majorities tries to control dominant minorities via monopolizing
and controlling the information.
This is sign of warning which causes by the highly developed
science technology in the future society.
Now, we are surrounded by hi-technology tapping devices and
cameras as the novel reflected. Eavesdropping and recording
someone's conversation commonly happens our lives.
Thereby, legally detection process against
tapping and bugging is become a gravity issue in the society,
in order to heal up such unrest. In fact, the common idea
is that the detection and the prevention technology are built
up after the bugging methods are invented.
For instance, Russian tapping technology is having no rival,
because it designed that the western cannot trace by their
detection instrument; lowered radio wave tapping, SCR or semiconductor
typed ones, etc.
